Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Weaver ("the Service") you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Weaver.

2. Description of Service

Weaver is a local-first AI roleplay engine that lets you create interactive stories with AI-powered characters, dynamic locations, and a persistent knowledge graph. Cloud features (sync, subscriptions, cloud AI models) require an account.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or 13 years old with verified parental consent, to use Weaver. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@weaver.app if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Weaver to:

• Generate content that is illegal, abusive, or harassing.
• Produce or distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors.
• Violate the intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

6. Credits and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in EUR. Credits purchased separately never expire. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you create using Weaver. By using cloud sync or the marketplace, you grant Weaver a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display your content solely to provide the Service. Weaver retains all rights to its software, brand, and platform.

8. Advertising

Weaver may display advertisements served by Google AdSense on marketing pages. These ads are governed by Google's advertising policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weaver and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable member-state law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We'll notify you of material changes by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
